Are Opioid deaths still triple what COVID deaths are in the US?

    Drug overdose deaths involving any opioid―prescription opioids (including methadone), other synthetic opioids, and heroin―rose from 18,515 deaths in 2007 to 47,600 deaths in 2017; before declining to 46,802 in 2018. 

    COVID deaths  - 207,000

    Yeah, losing your job and being locked in your house for half a year does lead some addicts to relapse. But I'm pretty sure Pence is the stiff in charge of COVID.
