Does the brown note actually exist ?

    The idea that sound can affect your body is absolutely true.  But the brown note itself appears to be false.  The military for awhile experimented with crowd control using sonic 'cannons'.  

    But the air is actually a lousy conductor of sound.  The idea that you can make someone lose control of their bowels with sound appears to be false.  Mythbusters had an episode on it, and while Mythbusters is more "science" than science, they constructed a rig with sound experts that surrounded the person with the sound from almost all sides, generated HUGE decibels of various frequencies and while people in it reported feeling anxious and a shortness of breath, even a little nausea...nobody even came close to pooping themselves.

    And that was a test with EXTREMELY optimal conditions for it to happen.

    Also, thanks for asking this in comics & animation where we know our physics and biology what with us talking about superheroes half the time.

    Think I watched a Mythbusters episode where that was tested in various ways. The result was BUSTED if I remember correctly.
