Night Jogging?

So its been months I used to jog with my friend at planet fitness around midnight whenever we got off work.  I moved from a city location to a more rural location.  Anyway I'm not a morning person I absolutely have no energy when I wake up but after the day is over I have extra that I'm just wasting and I can feel it.  Anyway I would love to start night jogging in the midnight hours but I'm worried people will think I'm a criminal.  Anyone else get into a routine like this?
