Vinyl Records - Difference between AMS v Stereo?

I want to buy a vinyl record for a friend.

But one record says AMS on it and another says stereo.

The better condition is a stereo version so based on cosmetics I want to buy that one but is AMS better?

Why are you asking the same silly question again? There is no “AMS vs stereo”. From what someone else says “AMS” is a record company.

    Please don't post this again!

I think it's like the difference between purple and a car.

AMS Records is an Italian prog-rock reissue label, founded in 2005.

In 2015, the label has been officially renamed AMS Records, and the old rectangular logo "AMS" was changed to the round "AMS Records" logo

As far as I know, there is no "AMS audio system" analogous to stereo, so I suspect that AMS refers to something completely different, possibly the record label, manufacturer, catalog reference, etc.
