Try to stay calm, place to fight a bad cop is with a lawyer, later. Record it or get his chest cam footage (all legal stuff is Public information), and tell the Citizens' Advisory Committee or a lawyer that spec., in this  type  of complaint. Do  NOT "tell l his boss"  or  even Internal Affairs, Dos no good, often backfires.

Be polite and respectful, in spite of the attitude shown you.  Very likely in the incident is being recorded on a dash cam or shoulder cam, so you can prove you were not provocative in any way.  Do not argue with, yell at, or show any bad attitude toward anyone who wears a uniform.  It's for your own safety.  Memorize his/her badge number and nameplate.  If you can unobtrusively record the incident with your own phone, do so.  That will also be evidence in your favor if things go south.

    "good cop" is an oxymoron.

No cop accepts anybody no matter their sexuality or their political views so thus none of them are good.

Cooperate and keep your mouth shut.  Remember everything and write it down.  Turn it in, make a report.  Bad police make it difficult for good police to properly do their jobs, makes it dangerous.
