Are there any really easy fruits / vegies to grow indoors on a budget. ?

I'm concerned about pesticides and would feel a tad bit safer if I had full control over what I put into my body.  How do I start?

You can grow srawberries in pots herbs of many kinds obviously you need the warm sun and longer days for veg , they are annuals meaning they grow from seed every year and need the summer winter is dificult to grow most things , and inside you can grow them but obviously the space so pots of peas and beans or tomatoes or peppers can be grown good luck
