How do they get you to open your mouth during wisdom teeth removal?
When you’re asleep and under anesthesia, do they manually pry your mouth open?
Dumb question, I know.

A metal reinforced rubber-covered "bite block" is put in place on the opposite side of your mouth, blocking your mouth open.
Ask your dentist to show you a bite block.Source(s): We used them for many procedures...
