Should we ban Christmas for being nothing more than a sales event?

We should go back to remembering that it is supposed to be a celebration of the birth of Christ.

Jesus is the only person to have a birthday where everyone else gets presents and He gets nothing. Bring back the religious part of it.

What I hate is that people try to be politically correct and call it the holidays in the US and the festive season in the UK, instead of what it is.

We number our years AD and BC based on the birth of Jesus, so if we can base our calendar on him, surely we can say his name and cal it Christmas

if you were a kid, would you like getting nothing on Christmas? Let kids get presents it's the best part for them.

It is not an open event. Actually famílies choose to meet and Exchange gifts. Usually the most important is a beautiful tree to charish a moment of peace together remembering the family times and paying tribute to our family's tree.

Yes we should. Winter is supposed to be depressing anyway.

If you dont want to celebrate it then don't. You're not being forced.
