Get a humane mouse trap, one of the ones where the mouse wanders into the box and the door shuts behind them. Non-humane traps are dangerous for pets to be around.
Try not to let your cat eat the mouse. If the mouse has a disease, your cat could get sick. Not to mention that if your cat were to lick you or something after eating the mouse, you could get sick.

Just sit back and wait for the cat to get to work.
