Impossible to prevent all accidents, all you can ever hope to do is reduce the opportunity for accidents (by definition an accident is something that happens unexpectedly). The problem you run in to with attempting to overprotect a child is poor childhood development due to too many restrictions.
Lock cabinets where cleaning and medicines are locatedPut covers over is power outlets around the house Bolt tall cabinets and bookshelves to wall to keep a climbing child pulling heavy furniture over.Child gates on the top of all stairways.Open window on 2nd floor or above need safety bars if accessible to a small child.
