To achieve their goals Democrats would have to cover every spare square inch of  America with expensive solar panels and wind generators that are not reliable and are only 'sustainable' because you have to spend more to replace them when they wear out/fail.

They would be a total waste of valuable agriculture and other green space land.

Where i live we already have fights over liberal nimby's who love the idea but don't want them near their houses.

It wouldn't use up any agricultural space, which you can farm underneath wind turbines (the blades don't get close enough to the ground to affect the crops) and solar panels are usually put on top of buildings or over parking lots, not in open space.

Also, we can't use most of our agricultural space anyway, because we don't have enough farm workers.
