Hard workers aren't respected, those who get the job done are.

Sometimes they are seen as fools in a place where

hard work is rewarded by more work.

"Since you are done with your work, go and help Bozo

with his work."  Bozo has not done anything all day but

fast boy now has to do half of Bozo's job because

Bozo has been out back smoking, shucking and jiving

all day long with the boss's daughter.  Fast boy does not

get paid half of Bozo's wages but does two people's

    jobs.

It is a well known fact that hard workers contribute to increase productivity .Naturally the employer recognize such workers and they are rewarded with promotions and increased remunerations .Co workers respect them and follow them too .

In most cases, yes. I had 12 people that worked for me, and I respected every one of them, they were all good hard workers. I rewarded them when I could, with a bonus. Gave them all Christmas gifts.  They were better than family to me.

Hard workers earn God's respect if they work for good cause.

Not necessarily. A lot of hard workers are sabotaged by lazy, jealous coworkers.
