Can you get corona from sexual intercourse?

My cousin had to do a corona test and she tested positive for covid-19 and now I've been coughing a lot the last couple of days...

  • Not through the actual act of having intercourse. While you have intercourse you're less then 6ft away / in close contact with some one that could be infected. They're spreading droplets of saliva to you, this is how covid 19 is spread.

Just coughing could be any thing, do call your doctor and see if you should get tested.

Covid19 is NOT an STD.  It is an airborne virus that is passed from person to person in the air.  So if you are having sexual relations with someone who has it then you can get it as you are face to face (or approximate) with them. This does not mean you got it from sexual intercourse.  In the same manner if someone has ringworm and you have contact with their skin during sex you could get ringworm. That doesnt mean you got it from sex.
