I’m confused on how to move the graph to find the value of c?

The following graph depicts a function along with a secant line from

 to x=b

and a tangent line at the point x=c

The mean value theorem, in effect, says that the slope of the secant will be equal to the slope of the tangent line at some point between the endpoints of the secant.  (...thinking of the secant as a line segment between those two points rather than an infinite line.)

So, drag the blue dot until the lines are parallel.  No big deal, right?

You are kidding ---  this is a manipulative thing on your computer -- I cannot move the points to get anything done .. Use your cursor, click on the point and drag it to a new location to get the answer ... I cannot do any of that.
