What if all the continents were reversed?

Like if the east coast looked like the west coast and the west coast looked like the east coast, and Asia was west of Europe and the Americas were to the east.

"What if" questions are utterly pointless.  They aren't reversed and can never be.

Asia is to the west of Europe, if you go around the world that way.  And the Americas are to the east of Europe and Asia if you go that way.

That is what Christopher Columbus was trying to do when he set out. He wanted to find the back route to 'The Indies' and cut out all the Asian merchants to provide spices etc at lower prices for Europe.  He accidentally discovered the Americas on the way.

An interesting historical "What if?" is the notion that the Chinese, already used to long voyages to India, Arabia and Africa, had also made voyages eastwards, and found the 'west' coast of the Americas?  Would Spaniards and, later, Americans have found a Chinese wooden Golden Gate Bridge?!
