Is it "cellphone" or "cell phone" (with or without a space)?

    According to Merriam-Webster's online dictionary, "cell phone" is preferred but "cellphone" is accepted but marked as "less frequent."

    I prefer the version that is two separate words.

    Mobile phone, with a space, the word "mobile", and without the word "cell".

    Cell phone is better, although both are acceptable.
