Why can't you watch a copyrighted claim YouTube video?

    Because its maybe illegal as someone has claimed copyright infringement.  Until the poster can prove they are not infringing its not available to view,

    Once you put your brain into gear and start thinking about the legality aspect, once the copyright holder, or one of their advocates, place a copyright claim, YouTube don't want to see themselves in court to contest the legality of the matter.

    If YouTube continue to allow people to see the video, they COULD find themselves in big trouble ... as can the person who uploaded the video.

    Well that’s the point. What would be the point in copyright claims if everybody could still watch it?
