How much should I feed my kitten each day and how often?

I have a 5-month-old kitten and I have been feeding her one 3 oz. can of Fancy Feast kitten classic pate wet food a day and I leave some Purina Kitten Chow dry food out for her whenever she gets hungry. Is this a good amount of food to feed her each day or should I switch certain things up? Also, would wet food be necessary to feed her every day, or can I give her wet food 3-4 times a week?

You should split the can of wet food. Half in morning and half in the evening. Keep a single scoop(those little plastic ice tea scoops)of dry food out for nibbles. We prefer to feed our cat a can of wet food everyday.

Ideally she should be getting all wet food. You can read why here

She needs 3-4 meals a day. Allow her to eat as much as she wants per meal.

young cats need a lot of food. Even 3 meals a day. When older i reckon twice a day but with some biscuits as well. Even some lactose free milk as well.
