Yes. One time I drove over 500 miles to see my son. There was a lot of stop and go during this trip and when I finally arrived at his place I pulled into the parking lot, put the brakes on in my car and the brake pedal went to the floor. A brake line blew out. That could have happened anywhere along the way but it didn't happen until I got there.
