Why on the price is right, every trip is a round trip from los angeles?
What if when you recieve your tickets, your back home no where near los angeles? What if the the place your flying to is farely close, do you have to make your way to los angeles, fly to the destination, back to LA, then go home? that sounds goofy

The Price is Right is filmed at Studio 33 in CBS Television City in Los Angeles. But yes, that is the expectation, presuming you actually take it instead of cashing out.

The corporate vendors that give those trips to game shows in exchange for advertising probably figure that if the winner can get themselves to L.A. to win the prize they can get themselves back to L.A. to take the trip.

Because that's where the show is based and the prizes are generally donated in return for the advertisement. If you're from the destination or near to it, that's just your bad luck.

The "value" of the trip you bid on is based on round trip flights to/from LA. That is the only way they can put a value on the trip in order to "price it" for the purposes of the show. If you actually won the trip I'm sure you could modify the flights to be more convenient, but you may have to pay the difference.

Because they can guarantee the Los Angeles airport will fly you to that destination. And there's certainly nothing unusual about connection flights which is what you would have to do to get to Los Angeles.
