If an employee with autism condescends his co-workers and talks to them like they’re “slow,” is that a symptom of his condition?

Keep in mind he also points a lot, which is a rude gesture. Is he not being genuinely rude and unprofessional, but instead can’t help it?

FYI, he’ll talk to co-worker like he’s slow even if co-worker has been with the company twice as long as he has.

Update 2:

He also talks very fast.

Autism is not a one size fits all display of particular behaviors and emotional responses.  This is going to be varied dependent on the individual.
