Was Che Guevara native American?

    Let's put it this way, his dad's surname was Lynch.  Che Guevara's ancestors were European, but they'd been in South America a damn sight longer than most whities having settled in the 1700s.  The US is a funny place.  People are freaking out because "white" people won't be in the majority soon while resolutely choosing to remain ignorant about South and Central American history and not realizing that Argentina, for example, is almost 90% white. It's a strange thing that history wants to remember Che Guevara as "other" as possible instead of a rugby-playing, upper middle class, white boy.  It's like that truth doesn't sit well with both his fans and his critics.
