Tesorotx, that is correct.  Only the father knows, however, who is the father being referred to?  Think people, think! Read the gospels again, and notice what  is really the subject matter. It is the son of man's father being referred to, as he is giving his son orders.  That father is not the religion's god and the son is not Jesus, but is the son of a man of very high power who is also known and referred to as a god. I deal in reality, not religious hocus-pocus.  The wording Son of Man ought to cause some of you to think a little.

@Caryn,Yes that god did give the order of 'when', but it was not the god you think is real; it was a real man who was recognized as a god giving his son the order to destroy Jerusalem and the temple.

@anonymous "I'm a Hindu";  Nice thinking, but to believe that a fictional character will return border on stupidity.  The Roman wrote the NT of the bible for their purpose, and the story as related to a Jesus is a totally fictional story.

No, but He might return on November 3.  If He doesn't, the Orange Satan certainly will.

Thats an interesting question. Really though, what is the purpose of Christ’s return?

The Bible shows the purpose of Jesus’ return is to provide mankind with good government. Luke 19:11, 12.

He was resurrected as an invisible spirit person. (1 Peter 3:18) Then, he went to heaven and sat at God’s right hand. (Psalm 110:1) So Jesus returns, not as a human, but as an invisible King- Daniel 7:13, 14.

What will Jesus do when he arrives?

When Jesus arrives invisibly with his angels, he will judge mankind. He will destroy wicked people but grant everlasting life to those who accept him as King.—Matthew 25:31-33, 46.

Jesus’ rule as King will transform the earth into a paradise. He will resurrect the dead so that they can enjoy life in that earthly Paradise.—Luke 23:42, 43.

He left the Holy Spirit with us so its like he never left.

Jesus will return one day for all to see. But only God knows.

He will make his presence know in a twinkle of an eye. And then after 7 years he will began his Kingdom.

No, not tomorrow. As long as His Church remains on Earth, we should not expect Him. Once the Church is Raptured, those left behind can begin the count-down to His return.

He told us that no-one would know the time, so there is no point in guessing.

When Jesus returns, it will be TODAY!

  • The Holy Scriptures of the Bible explain that no one knows the day or the hour that the Son of man, Jesus Christ, will return, but only the Father. Jesus Christ's return will be like a thief in the night; meaning, at an unknown time. Many people without understanding of what the Scriptures say try to point out the verse where Jesus Christ told some of his followers that some of them would not die until they see him coming in his kingdom glory, that was fulfilled just a few days later when they where given a vision of Christ Jesus in kingdom glory at the transfiguration on the mount. They can nay say all they want but that was the fulfillment of his words. Bible prophecies concerning our day and age do tell us that his return is extremely close and the Scriptures warn us to stay awake and keep alert as we do not know the day or hour and we do not want to be caught spiritually asleep and we want to keep busy with spiritual activities and not to be getting caught up in this system of things problems. Jehovah God's Kingdom with Christ Jesus as it's King is the only solution to mankind's problems and it why Jesus Christ in the model pray taught us to pray for God's Kingdom to come and do God's will on earth as in heaven. God's Kingdom is a real government in heaven, having kings, judges, priests, and subjects, that will rule over the earth, and obedient humans will be those subjects of it.
