So, as the Word of God says, we are all God's children. If that's true, then, why is Jesus so special?

Just curious. And can anyone answer without quoting from the Bible. Howz about a wee bit of independent thinking on the subject.

Jesus is the light of God. He was filled with the Holy Spirit to give to us. Jesus is the Day that God in flesh could walked the Earth. For man was sin and God could only walk with them not be with them. For God is prefect. Man is not.

Jesus was man that is sinnless. For God was with him. When Jesus die he attained all sin from the Day of Eve.

The Holy Spirit was with Jesus and it was released as Jesus died. Jesus's soul took all sin and destroyed it. He went down to Abraham's bosom and saved all of God's people. Then Jesus returned for he is the word of God. For he is God.

This is why they call it the Trinity. God can be everywhere at once. For he is the Holy Spirit. We now can attain the Holy Spirit if we know Jesus. The Holy Spirt is within all of us, but the Spirit will only make itself know to the faithful.

We all come from God, but Jesus is God.

You have to read the word of God to know God. Their is no easy way out of it.

Jesus is the Divine Son of God, making Him unique since birth.

What makes Jesus so special is He willingly died for us as the ultimate sacrifice for sin.

    Let me get this straight.

    You are asking:

"According to the Bible (aka, the Word of God), we are all God's children. . . . can anyone answer without quoting from the Bible"?

Then you ask:  "Howz about a wee bit of independent thinking"

It was 'independent thinking' with out considering what God said that got mankind into the terrible place we are today.

What does the Word of God say about Jesus?

Jesus said, eternal life is based upon coming to know the only true God. [thus denying to be God]

Jesus said, eternal life is based upon coming to know the one sent by the only true God.

Jesus said his true followers would be his brothers, as brothers they would be children of God.

If you teach Jesus is God and not the Son of God, then you must also believe that Jesus' true followers or his brothers would also be Gods.

What makes Jesus special?  Because Jesus is the Firstborn of all creation.  Making Jesus the first creation.

Jesus was created prior to all the other sons of God.

Jesus was created prior to the creation of the heavens.

Jesus was created prior to the creation of the earth and everything living upon it.

    What makes Jesus special?

Because the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ has given his Firstborn the second most highest position in all creation.

Thus all knees are to bend to the one appointed by the only true God in recognition of this honor and position.

NO, the Word of God doesn't say we are all God's children.  Nowhere even close to such a claim.

The word of God makes it clear we are children of the Devil unless or until we are born again of the Spirit.

Why are you so dishonest? That is the mark of the Devil.

Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.

You want to dishonestly refer to the Bible and then forbid citing the Bible. That is not independant thinking but deliberate dishonesty.

Because of the fact that Jesus clearly demonstrated that He was God, by constantly doing things only God could do.

How then did you learn about Jesus?

Just to give you a little background, in the very early years of Christianity there was a dispute among Christian leaders. Some believed you had to become a Jew first, and then become a Christian. In that order. Peter and the apostles made a huge decision at the council of Jerusalem. They decided that no, a person did not have to convert to Judaism to be a Christian. A gentile could become a Christian. We are all sons and daughters of God because all are welcome in the church, regardless of creed or color, or family history. The chosen people is now open to the whole human race

That’s why Saint Paul writes, "This is the mystery that is now revealed: not just the Chosen people, but all people."

No, we are NOT all God's children because some people choose to make Satan their 'father'. Jesus spoke of that, but you don't want to know. Jesus is not 'A' son of God but 'THE' Son of God, the only-begotten of the Father. He existed from before creation, in the Godhead, uncreated as the Word of God who was both with God and IS God but you don't want to know. Instead of you blindly accepting the opinions of those who hate God and Christ, why not check out what they have had recorded, in writing, and ponder the unique status of the one who, in time, left Heaven to become one of us? It will blow your mind - if you dare to open it up to the idea.

Thats like saying explain the laws of thermodynamics but without using scientific explanations.

    The Bible says this...

1 John 3:10 — So now we can tell who are children of God and who are children of the devil. Anyone who does not live righteously and does not love other believers does not belong to God.
