Why does Uranus have such a slow escape velocity?

    The escape velocity from the cloud tops of Uranus is 21.3 km/second.  That's not very slow.

    He isn't very dense and the pull of gravity at the cloud tops is only a little greater than Earth's.

    Uranus has the slowest escape velocity of the gas giant planets. Why? Because it has the smallest mass, among the gas giant planets.
