There's always a chance but it's very unlikely. It was known that he was dying and plans have been made.

They'll probably get someone else to host it, but it will never be the same without Alex! Look at the Price is Right. It's pretty bad with Drew Cary.

It's a highly profitable game show, so they're not going to fold on Trebek's death. I imagine they're going to try out one or more new hosts.
