If the weather person doesn’t tell you how cold the weather is then how can I know whether to wear a coat or jacket at 48°F (Spring vs fall)?

This is why I think it should be a special weather app/channel for someone who can’t decide for themself.

There IS a dedicated WEATHER channel. Check your listings.

You can try a weather app like Climacell or Aeris. These apps can tell you what the temperature outside feels like so that you can decide how you want to dress up.

If you know it is 48 why do you need a person to tell you to do something?

You will usually need a jacket at that temperature.

Since you can’t decide for yourself, I guess you will just have to be cold.

Look out of the window. If there is a brass monkey looking rather distressed, 

you'll be needing your coat.
