please tell me the meaning of this poem?
1:Faire virgin (said the Prince) ye me require
2: A thing without the compas of my wit:
3: For both the lignage and the certain Sire,
4: From which I sprong, from me are hidden yit.
5: For all so soone as life did me admit
6: Into this world, and shewed heavens light,
7: From mothers pap I taken was unfit:
8: And streight deliver'd to a Faery knight,^
9:To be upbrought in gentle thewes and martiall might.

The Prince is confessing his lowly beginnings and claiming that he's unfit for the fair virgin because of them.
