What is iso-raise in poker and how do you do it?

Isolation is when you raise after an all-in bet to discourage others from calling so you can be heads-up. This increases your chance of winning. The more in a hand, the more likely marginal hands could catch.
Works best if you have a large stack and aren't at risk.

Isolation raising (or “iso-raising” for short) is a technique used by poker players to increase the number of hands they play against weak opposition.
It involves raising against a preflop limper in an attempt to create a heads-up pot.
