Have a little respect. He is no longer with us. No need for that comment. Also he was not the only one who did that. Many people especially  Rappers did that back then. It was a whole east vs west thing. I have studied Hip Hop a lot. I even took a class on Hip Hop.

Basically Makaveli was a writer whom Tupac read one of him books when was gone to jail for the rape accusation,the Makaveli's book talks about the protagonist whohad to fake own death for escape from him enemies,therefore there is a theory conspiration that said Tupac taken inspiration from Makaveli for fake his own death. 

Makaveli was a sort of Tupac's alter ego.
