How long after the best by date is it safe to eat brown organic eggs?

i have had eggs in the fridge for months. They seem fine to me.

You've got at least another 2-3 weeks.

In the US, eggs are processed differently than in other countries. So you have about 2 weeks past that Sell By date.

At least in Europe, eggs normally have a use by date, not a best by or before date.
Their colour and whether or not they are organic makes no difference.
They can be safely eaten until they go bad, probably many weeks after any “best by” date.
Dates are useful when buying products as they give a very rough) idea of how fresh they but once you have bought them it's not really important with something like milk or eggs as it's quite obvious when they have gone bad.

Weeks. Unlikely they’d go bad and if they did, you’d smell it.

How long? The Julian date printed on each carton (that’s the three-digit number ranging from 001 for Jan. 1 to 365 for Dec. 31) represents the date the eggs were packed, which, in most parts of the country, can be up to 30 days after the egg was actually laid. The sell-by stamp can be another 30 days after the pack date.
That’s 60 full days! But odds are good that they’ll still be palatable for several weeks longer than that. You’ll run out of hoarded toilet paper before those eggs go bad.

I've used them up to 4 days after the best buy date, I check them by breaking them into a cup / bowl first.

Best before dates are not use by dates. They are often fairly generous as it is meant to be the date after which a store will stop selling the item, but should still be good for a while.
How long something lasts, depends on how you store it. Put your eggs outside of the fridge, they will go off in weeks, but inside the fridge they will last a long time.
The best way is to break each egg into a cup, glass or bowl and sniff it to see if it is fine.

Put each egg into a bowl of water. If it sinks and lies on one side it's okay to eat. If it floats or appears to want to float don't eat it.
