Video Problem!?

I have a problem. I recently got the new iPhone 12 pro max. I have recorded content on 4k 60fps and I use my 5G to upload my videos (I have rubbish internet where I am) why is it when I upload the video that the max quality is 1080p on YouTube?!!! ive tried everything! is it the quality of my 5G reducing the quality of the video? HELP!

    It can take a good 8 hours sometimes for youtube to make the 4k version of the video available from when you uploaded it, so if you haven't waited that long I would check again.
