On a miniscule basis,  so it's much better for you to not eat poisonous substances like alcohol,  trans fats or fructose outside of whole foods.

I just summed up the reversal of most obesity,  nascent diabetes II,  the prevention of diabetes II and most heart disease.

    If you prefer the science:

A case report on alpha-lipoic acid 600 mg daily for 6-48 months in patients with chronic progressive external ophthalmoplegia (CPEO) showed that alpha-lipoic acid had a beneficial effect on brain and skeletal muscle energy metabolism. A randomized controlled trial (RCT) on carnitine 2 g daily in patients with CPEO showed improved lung function, cardiac function, muscle strength, and exercise tolerance. An RCT on CoQ-10 900 mg daily for 4 weeks demonstrated that CoQ-10 improved exercise tolerance and muscle strength. Two RCTs on creatine 2 g daily for 6 weeks showed that creatine improved muscle and exercise performance.
