Which Game Engine should I use?

I'm tossing up between Unity, Unreal, and Godot. I've heard that Unity and Unreal have more working opportunities, but I've heard that Godot is more straightforward to use and learn from Python, which I already have some experience with. Any recommendations?

Different engines are suited to different game types.

However, if you are simply asking about trying to become a developer in a studio where you develop for someone else, Unity or Unreal is where you should go.If you are going solo as an indie developer, make whatever you want wherever you want!

  • i take it  this is for a game development project?, well i would say, and i'm next to blindfolded btw,  that it would depend on the game type, are not different engines more suited to different game genres that others and visa vera?
