Women who wear lots of makeup usually either do it because they're insecure about some perceived flaw on their face or they think it looks good and no one has ever been able to convince them it doesn't.

Mostly I believe they do it for themselves, to enhance their appearance, same as doing their hair, it’s a beauty routine.
