Is medical coding a decent career?
Update:
Thank you for answering this question. I've looked at previous questions yet they seem to have had a shelf life. As technology and business models evolve I try to ask in real-time what is the reality of this field, today. Once again, thank you. And for those who think I'm a troll, I'm not. I'm just a person asking for an updated answer.

probably not like it was, EMRs now code electronically and 1 biller/coder can just double check dozens and dozens of charts. I would look around and see how many openings you find in your area.
