Can I ever heal from my husband dying? It's been six years.?

You need to let go of the past and let new people into your life. I know that is easier said then done but it is the only way forward. Cherish your memories but move on. I didn't know him but if you were my wife I know I would want you to find happiness when I was gone.

it will always be with you but gradually should be more happy memories than painful ones. Try some grief counseling if its really significant

Probably not completely. It's been 10 years for me and while the pain diminishes some, it's always there waiting to jump out at you. If you're young enough, possibly you may meet someone else down the road. I'm 73 so I will not. Good luck.
