Will Chancellor Sunak and his recovery plan actually be successful whilst Covid19 persists? He's taking a huge Punt on the vaccines efficacy?

The vaccines are proven already and it's a slam dunk that COVID is going once we get vaccinated

He is basing his sums on vaccines bringing covid under control by the spring. If they don't he'll have to think again. The economic model that lets him borrow vast amounts of money stems from Western countries having a huge trade deficit with China. We've allowed to let our manufacturing industry die and we buy our manufacturing goods from China using international credits. That leaves Chinese banks with trillions of pounds euros and dollars which they lend back to us at next to nothing interest. We can't afford to repay the debt because of our budget deficits, so it is rolled over every month with further borrowing. If China will then only lend more money at high interest rates, the entire Western economy will collapse.

Well the Bank of England is buying the debt for nothing so it can throw it away like in 2008 and expect the poor to pay the bill , this is much bigger , "always look on the brighter side of life " de dum de dum
