The second hand on a clock makes 1 revolution per minute.
If the second hand is 10 cm long,
the exact distance that the tip of the second hand travels
in 12 seconds is 0.4 π cm or 1.2566 cm.

in 12 hours, it covers on circle. In 12 sec how much
2*pi*10/( 12*60*60)*12= 20 pi/(3600)=pi/180 cm=0.01745 cm
2 pi r=62.83
12*60*60/12*0.01745=62.82

Circumference = 2 π r Find the circumference for r = 10 cm
Now multiply by a fraction of 12 /60 since you did not travel around a complete circle , only 12/60 ths of it.
reduce to lowest terms.
