SINCE the term “antichrist” has long been used as a label for everything from monarchs to movies, it is only natural to ask: Who is the antichrist? Does this term have anything to do with us today? Surely the logical place to begin when searching for the identity of the antichrist is in the Bible, where the term appears five times.
The only Bible writer to use the word “antichrist” is the apostle John. How did he describe the antichrist? Note these words in the first letter bearing his name: “Young children, it is the last hour, and just as you have heard that the antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have appeared, from which fact we know that it is the last hour. They went out from us, but they were not of our sort . . . Who is the liar but the one who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, the one who denies the Father and the Son.”—1 John 2:18, 19, 22.

No one knows for sure who he is but he is a charming person loved like a rock star and not a lover of women..he will be up talk shows and adored by all who feel he is the one who is going to be faithful to us. he is only going to lead many to hell. even the holly of the holiest will be fooled, that is how charming and powerful he will be..

Well, since anti- means opposite, and christ is fictional, that would have to be someone who actually exists.

Only the antichrist would appear on the Earth by way of a virgin
birth, claim to be the "only way to God", and make astonishing
promises to those who would listen, all in an effort to gain his own
following by leading God’s believers "away from" God, Himself.
Jesus Christ is the antichrist.
From the moment that the antichrist left the protection
of Mary's womb, Christians have been misled and deceived.

Source(s): dog = antichrist who caused ww3 to blame religion for it in order to ban religion and to demand worship to himself; necktie = masonic chokehold; masons = homosexuals who helped bring the antichrist to power; now, antichrist will disband this cult; forgive me. - Anonymous2 months ago

Apostates and leaders of false worship twist the clear teachings of Jesus into knots of religious deceit. Such ones reject Bible truth and spread lies in the name of God and Christ. They deny the true relationship of the Father and the Son by their Trinity doctrine. Therefore, they too are a part of the antichrist.
He that is not on my side is against me, and he that does not gather with me scatters. Luke 11:23 Here Jesus proclaims that all who oppose him and the divine purposes he supports fall into the category of the antichrist.
1 John 2:22 (NIV)
Who is the liar? It is the man who denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a man is the antichrist -- he denies the Father and the Son.

Almost anyone ya don't like, according to History.
But seriously -- People have claimed that several Popes were the antichrist or the entire Catholic faith.
Various World Leaders, Russian Communism, etc.
There are 2 theories..
A) The AntiChrist will be a single person, a charismatic world leader.
B) The AntiChrist is more of a 'movement' - a world view, a cultural movement, a way of thinking that is counter to Christ and anti-Christian. That it isn't so much a single person, but either a world government or maybe even just a steady decline of society away from Christian values and towards an alternate set of beliefs that is anti-theistic.
I PERSONALLY don't think the AntiChrist will be a single person, but many different viewpoints that together creates a culture that is anti-Theistic and especially anti-Christian.
