Since Milky Way is flat, how come only Earth is flat and not all planets?

Neither the Milky Way nor the Earth are flat. The ancient Greeks knew the world was round because they could see the tops of the masts before they saw the rest of the ships .Even Columbus's men knew it was round. They weren't afraid of falling off the edge, they thought the distance was too great for the voyage. Columbus actually miscalculated the size of the Earth. He thought it was smaller than it really is.

The Milky Way is a barred spiral galaxy.  The central core is a globular shape with a diameter of about 1100 lightyears.  The rest is approximately a disk with a thickness that diminishes as one moves outward, but in our region (27,700 LY from the center) is over 500 LY thick.  Not reasonably described as flat.

Earth is not flat.  This has been known at least since before Aristotle 2500 years ago, as he cited three proofs, none of them original to him.  And just a century after Aristotle the Earth's size was determined with an accuracy of 99% by Eritosthenes.

sorry the MILKY WAY is   a spiral galaxy  it does not mean its BLOODY FLAT ..  when objects spin like a disk the   random objects  all group into a disk shape  because of the  SPIN..

THE  earth just for the record inspite of  the FLAT EARTHERS  SIMPLETON ideas  is  NOT FLAT its spherical or spheroid   as the center of the earth bulges just a bit more because of the grabity of the  sun pulling more there
