Under arm tissue, is this common or normal ? ?

Under my right under armpit in the upper top quadrant l, I can notice moveable tissue, my OB thought it’d excess breast tissue. She was not worried.

Every now and then, I’ll feel it, it’s still the same. I had an ultrasound done, nothing abnormal in the area was noted. This was 3 years ago the ultrasound.

In total I’ve noticed it for six years.

If it was anything bad, would I have known by now ?

My doctor said if it was cancer it would have kept growing and reached the size of a golf ball.

Is this true ?

Update:

I’m 34 years old :)

Sounds like a lipoma.   That means fat tumor.   Lipomas are quite common,  especially if one is fat or obese, but neither is required.

Lipomas are almost always benign and do not develop into cancerous cells.
