Aliens are likely to be hermaphrodite or asexual.  If they were homophobic, assuming they have more than one sex, the chances are that being capable of that degree of pointless hatred would have led to some process which destroyed their civilisation before they could leave their own solar system, so yes they could exist but we would never get to know about them.  In the French SF story 'Delta', the Arcturans have three sexes and there are some individuals who are homosexual.

Asking a question like this about beings who we have no evidence existing and therefore can't do anything to study their civilization is like asking about the sexual and cultural details of Santa's elves.  The most anyone could do is guess and speculate.  If there are alien species on other planets, it's every bit as likely that they would have homosexual and bisexual members of those species as it is for us to have homosexual and bisexual members among humans and other species on Earth.  But as far as homophobia goes, while it would be possible, I tend to think alien species would not be anywhere near as irrational and illogical as humans and would just accept non-heterosexual orientations as a natural, everyday part of who they are as a species.  And if the species is hermaphroditic, sexual orientation would be a moot point.

The only aliens I’ve met are self cloning so homosexuality does not apply to them. They divide in three ways after 30 years during an eclipse of the biggest moon of there system with the star that they orbit.
