Why does Thailand have so few cases of covid even though they break all the rules?

I live in Thailand and there are literally no covid rules.  All students have to go into to school.  None of the teachers wear a mask.  All the students are packed in side by side even small groups the teachers ask everyone to sit closer.  Teachers even ask me to remove the mask because they can't hear me.

So why is there so little covid here?

LAck of testing? lack of people not testing? lack of transparentcy in reporting? People hiding symptoms for a variety of reasons?

There are many factors, climate, humidity, and groups, etc. It would be something

worth looking into.
