What is the best product available in the stores to remove rust from metal? ?

Sulfuric or hydrochloric acid, if you can dip the part. Naval Jelly isnt very good but will access body panels, etc.
Old Skool used Coke inside fuel tanks. It has phosphoric acid in it, just like Naval Jelly.

Water, baking soda and electricity. Electrolisis is my favorite.

Naval Jelly. Duro is one brand, it is a pink colored spooge.
