Like every other politician of both parties going back decades, he does not owe one dime but he has collected hundreds of millions.  It is typical for any senator or representative to retire with tens of millions.  They also set up phony "save the children 501s"  and then become the overpaid CEO when they leave office.

How much does he owe?  Not clear he owes a cent.  Not obvious to me that the re-election corporation (the legal entity) isn't distinct from him, shielding him from its debts.  This is the usual purpose behind incorporation, to shield the associates from most of the financial liability that might arise.

This is a main reason he maintains a campaign organization even when he is not running (declared for re-election back in 2017, if I recall correctly).  It is probably the reason he will pretend to be a candidate for 2024 as soon as he can as well.

He uses the campaign corporation to pay for his self-adulation tours, and he tours a lot. It is all legal as long as he is a declared candidate.
