Why are there no Jehovah's Witness hospitals or universities?

There are no Jehovah's Witness hospitals because they are a cult of death, denying lifesaving treatment such as blood transfusions to those in need. They would allow their own children to die if the law did not restrain them. As for universities, that is a non sequitur, because Jehovah's Witness and education are a contradiction in terms.

Apparently no one, with the exception of Jehovah's Witnesses, here answering this question has any real knowledge of Jehovah's Witnesses or God's word the Bible. Jesus commanded his disciples to preach the Good News of God's Kingdom and make disciples in every nation to every people, tribe, and tongue. So everything they do focuses on that. There are plenty of institutions/ hospitals to care for the physically sick, Jehovah's Witnesses focus on helping the spiritually sick. Even though we try to help everyone, the haters are going to hate just like you see here.

I have never been associated with a Jehovah Witness, and from what I have learned bout that group, I am not interested in knowing any one of them.

Because no one would want to receive medical care from anyone who has only a high school diploma or G.E.D.
Because no one would want to receive college instruction from anyone who has only a high school diploma or G.E.D.
JWs frown upon education.

The group is far too small, even on a world-wide scale, to fund hospitals or universities. They barely have enough members or funds to stand still these days, such has been the hemorrhage of members . They have their own missionary 'schools' and congregational teaching for how to recruit, but education apart from their doctrines is not even on their radar. Nor is healing. They've been expecting Armageddon any day now (for over 100 years) that it would strike them as a waste of money and time to run hospitals or universities. They are only interested in getting their teaching out, in order to get more baptisms. Despite focusing on that and getting thousands of baptisms every year, they are losing almost as many who slip out the back door or who get booted out. They now have law suits in most continents, charging the organization with trying to cover up hundreds of thousands of child sex abuse allegations. That's where all their money and energy is going on now.

The great commission given to Christians is:
"Preach the word". "Go make disciples teaching them to do all the things I commanded."
No where in scripture will you find the command to 'build hospitals or universities'.
True we are commanded to help others, but Jesus didn't mean by building large money making institutions.
Jehovah's Witnesses obey Jesus by spending our monies and time preaching the Kingdom, the only true cure for mankind.
What good is it if a person gains the whole world and yet forfeits his life?

Because they're anti post-high school education -- afraid they'll lose members if they become too educated. And they're not interested in healing.
