Is it risky?

To walk alone in England 

I was told dont go out at night be aware dont stare

I can't even carry weapons

    It depends on where you live. I live in a relatively safe town and confidently go out in my wheelchair at 3am to the park with my dog when I can't sleep. I greet everyone in the street and it's a job to keep up with everyone that wants to chat when I get the bus. People say that no one speaks to you in London but that's not the case either. OK I took it too far asking someone to mind my puppy outside a shop but I ask directions and advice on the tube and everyone's been friendly so far and even teamed up and offered to carry me and my very heavy powerchair off the tube when it unexpectedly terminated at an unaccessible station. Looking angry or aggressive is far more likely to get you in trouble.

    It seems like many places you shouldn't go out.
