Are Iraq and Afghanistan occupied nations?
Are they occupied by the USA? If the USA doesn't plan to leave them, why don't we just officially declare their part of the USA and make them USA states?
*they're part of the USA

Yes - Afghanistan has been occupied one way or another since the 1850's.

If we "officially declare their [sic] part of the USA and make them USA states", then we would have to give them representation in the House of Representatives and the Senate, and let anyone born there be a U.S. citizen, and move to any of the existing U.S. states whenever they wish.

Of course they are. We're only there to steal their resources like oil.

Because that would be wildly illegal.
Plus, the US already has territories that it has not given state status to, such as Puerto Rico.

Seriously? Do you think American politicians want to give them voting rights? Residents of Puerto Rico and American Samoa don’t have voting rights yet...

Yes, the US needs to withdraw because it's a pointless war. They should just train the local police forces and military and let them battle Al Queda and the Taliban. Too much money has been spent on pointless wars. Also the US is most likely stealing oil as well.
