Artists! Why do you insist on putting "self-taught" everywhere?

It doesn't make you better than other artists when you put "self-taught" in your bio or professional description etc, it just makes you look like an amateur who learned to draw tig bitty anime girls from youtube tutorials and "How to Draw Anime" books.

It MEANS you were never taught in a classroom and have no access to commercial grade software.

I'm self taught.  I don't do anime or manga.  Your assumptions are inaccurate for a large majority of artists selling their work.
